Team members fromthe Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation (CEOI) shared their expertise at a special event designed to connect space and non-space innovators.
CEOI representatives joined Space Park Leicester and TWI at ‘Crossing Frontiers: Connecting Industries With The Space Economy’ which helped businesses to discover how cutting-edge technology from various industries is revolutionising the space sector.
CEOI Programme Manager Katy Angliss said: “We were very pleased to support this event which explored how cross-sector technologies can thrive in a fast-evolving global space economy.
“It was a great opportunity for organisations from a wide variety of industries to discover how their innovations could be adapted and commercialised for space.”
The October event included insights from the ESA Technology Broker UK and leading industry experts. There was also a panel discussion on commercialising innovation for the space sector, exhibitor networking and the chance to learn about funding and support opportunities.
The event concluded with a Cosmic Coffee networking event and a tour of Space Park Leicester.
