CEOI Sponsorship to the ESA course

The Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation (CEOI) is pleased to sponsor, on behalf of the UK Space Agency (UKSA) three UK participants to the European Space Agency (ESA)’s Space Optics Instrument Design & Technology 2024, to be held from Sunday 12th to Friday 17th May 2024 in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy.

The CEOI will pay for:

  • Registration fees
  • Accommodation at the course venue (single use)
  • Transportation from the UK to the course venue, up to a value of £500.

The CEOI sponsorship is open to UK residents, and belong to one of the following categories:

  • A student enrolled on a Masters (MSc) course or higher from a recognised University, in the field of earth observation, space science or engineering, optics.
  • A professional in the field of earth observation, space science or engineering.
  • A professional in the field of optical science & engineering looking at joining the space industry.

The CEOI will announce the outcome of its selection by the 15th of April 2024.
